GLOBAL GIFTS AND ENTERTAINMENT POLICY
From the Human Resources Department, we would like to remind you of ITV Ice Makers’ policy regarding gifts, entertainment, and other special favors within the professional sphere:
POLICY STATEMENT
At ITV Ice Makers, we are committed to maintaining fair, ethical, and transparent business relationships with our suppliers, clients, and partners. All purchasing, contracting, or business award decisions must be based solely on professional and objective criteria, such as value added, quality, service capacity, compliance with deadlines, and price competitiveness.
Gifts, invitations, hospitality, or any other special favors must not be—or appear to be—a condition for doing business with ITV. Nor should they influence, or give the appearance of influencing, our employees’ ability to make impartial decisions that are always in the best interest of the company.
For this reason, ITV employees must refuse any gift, invitation, or hospitality that exceeds a symbolic value, or that could create the appearance of a conflict of interest. Any accepted gift or invitation must always serve a legitimate professional purpose and align with the principles of ethics, transparency, and good judgment.
Likewise, department heads who maintain regular contact with suppliers must periodically remind both employees and the suppliers themselves of this policy. Suppliers must also be requested to report to Management, Human Resources, or the corresponding supervisor any attempt by an ITV employee, or anyone acting on their behalf, to solicit gifts, invitations, or other special favors.
In the same vein, ITV will not offer gifts, invitations, or hospitality to suppliers or partners when doing so could violate their own internal policies or create an inappropriate situation.
In case of doubt regarding the acceptance or offering of a gift, invitation, or hospitality, employees must consult with their direct supervisor or Human Resources beforehand.
Non-compliance with this policy may lead to appropriate disciplinary actions, which, in the most serious cases, may include termination of employment.
Thank you very much for your cooperation and commitment to an ethical, responsible, and transparent corporate culture.
