The Spanish Paralympic athlete, David Casinos, winner of four gold medals, has visited ITV Ice Makers to learn about the company’s commitment to sport.
During the tour of the production plant, David explained to employees his history of personal improvement and how he has managed to face the challenges of his life after losing vision.
David worked in a company when he went blind and from that moment on, he began a stage in which he had to adapt to a new situation. He began to sell lottery shares, but it was sport that generated a new illusion.
Now, the most important thing David is to be a good father, he has a two-year-old daughter whom he cares for and who transmits that you can always achieve what you want.

“Ice is the most effective natural anti-inflammatory that exists, I use it both to prevent and to treat injuries,” said David to the company’s CEO, Cristina Cordón.
David, one of the most award-winning Paralympic athletes and with more gold from the Spanish panorama, has toured the facilities, stopping at different points and talking with employees. “I have seen the closeness of the workers and the affection they have for the company, they are the roots of ITV, they work as a family,” he said.
According to Cristina Cordón, “David is an example for all of us, he represents effort, improvement and enthusiasm and these are the values that we want to transmit every day in our company”.
