Winter is coming and there are many people who love ice skating and decide to go out and enjoy this very popular sport. In the world, there is a wide range of ice rinks where you can skate on your own, without being disturbed. Probably, you are likely to know already some of the following ones, if you are interested in the ice-skating world.
World’s best ice rinks
The first one we would like you to know about is located in the other side of the pond, more specifically in Canada, and is one of the most famous ones. The Canal Rideau, in Ottawa, is one of the biggest ice rinks in the world, with its approximately 8 kilometres extension.
Without leaving the north American continent, we are pretty sure you have already heard about the Rockefeller Centre in New York. This is one of the most traditional and beautiful ice rinks you can find in North America. Generally, it is opened in October and it is available until April. Without moving from this Vienna area, you can enjoy the two things.
In Spain, we can also enjoy some well-known ice rinks. In Madrid you can find El Patio Central de Conde Duque, with an area of 300 square meters. An authentic wonder to enjoy the low temperatures.
In Berlin, Germany, you will find the “Winterworld”. With an area of more than 500 square meters, it is one of the most visited in the city when the cold arrives.
