Despite the weather being good or bad, at Ice For Life we don’t miss any of the sports challenges we decided to take part in this year. May is a perfect month to hold many of them. In fact, this weekend our team has been present in three different locations round the Globe, participating in demanding yet beautiful events.

ITV’s CEO, Cristina Cordón accomplished one of the hardest and most international challenges from this month. She travelled to Geneva (Switzerland) to run the HARMONY GENEVE MARATHON FOR UNICEF, a test designed by and for children and in which ITV put their bit with a donation to UNICEF before the race. Cristina finished the 42 kilometers in 3 hours and 55 minutes at a pace of 5:44 minuter per kilometer. An achievement we are proud of.

Meanwhile, in Spain, Sergio Causera and Miguel Rives, from the Ice For Life Team, and Daniel Roldán from Whitegoforit finished the Vuelta a la Isla de Tabarca swimming. This swimming challenge was a training for the Tabarca-Santa Pola crossing. There, our colleagues from the communication department swam together with other 300 people around the beautiful island of Tabarca, the sea bottom of which has been declared a nature reserve.

Last but not least, our colleague Juan Ignacio Nicolás Bonanni was in Valencia city running the unique Wings for Life World Run. This event is held simultaneously in 34 countries and the goal is to run until you are reached by a car driven at a steady pace that increases speed as time goes by. The car was driven in Valencia by Formula 1 Toro Rosso Team driver Carlos Sainz Jr.
