Corporate Social Responsibility at ITV
At ITV ice makers we have taken a big step in sustainable development, and we have chosen various ways of working without polluting the environment.
Solar plant
The first thing has been to install a solar plant that produces clean energy and that allows our production machines to work well without polluting the environment.
We recycle
It is very important for us to manage waste responsibly, for example, we recycle water for the production process and our machines are 100% recyclable.
In addition, we no longer use paper documents since all processes are digitized.
Environmental awareness campaigns
At ITV ICE MAKERS we contribute first-hand to improving the environment through awareness campaigns such as beach clean-ups, recycling campaigns, plastic reduction campaigns.
Use of refrigerant gases
In our company we have committed ourselves to the use of refrigerant gases R290 and R774 that respect the environment.
The refrigerants we use for our machines are natural and have low or no Global Warming Potential. Apart from being cheaper, they do not harm the ozone layer and are of excellent energy efficiency.
Advantages of R290 ice machines
The use of our R290 ice machines not only implies economic savings but also a significant reduction in the use of gases.
Our ice machines are equipped with ATEX components, condensers, and non-sparking aluminium fans.
Thanks to our R290 refrigerant machines, production has increased by 11%, water consumption has been reduced by 50% and energy consumption has been reduced by 25%.
