La magia del hielo es uno de los grandes atractivos de nuestro planeta. Formas imposibles creadas por la naturaleza nos han hecho enmudecer y viajar a otros puntos la Tierra con tal de disfrutar de tales espect\u00e1culos. Sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n el hombre ha sabido jugar y modelar el hielo a su gusto, hasta el punto de crear hoteles, bares y esculturas realmente llamativas.<\/p>\n

En ese grupo de iniciativas esta nuestra propuesta de destino de hielo de hoy. Se trata del Chillout Lounge que est\u00e1 situado en la c\u00e1lida ciudad de Dub\u00e1i. Ya solo por el atractivo contraste entre el calor del desierto y el fr\u00edo del local, vale la pena visitarlo.\u00a0Est\u00e1 situado en el llamado ‘Times Square Center’ de la capital de los Emiratos \u00c1rabes y se trata del primer sal\u00f3n de hielo en el Medio Oriente, seg\u00fan se anuncia\u00a0en su p\u00e1gina web.<\/p>\n

El local fue inaugurado en el a\u00f1o 2007, y es un espacio dise\u00f1ado a base de hielo donde todos los elementos como paredes, mesas, platos o vasos est\u00e1n elaborados con este material. En el chillout se puede tomar un refresco a\u00a0-6\u00baC aunque el establecimiento dispone de soluciones para paliar la g\u00e9lida sensaci\u00f3n ambiental, como ropa t\u00e9rmica, abrigos o guantes de lana para los clientes.<\/p>\n

Otra de las curiosidades del local es que disponen tambi\u00e9n de una zona de amortiguaci\u00f3n, a 5 grados, para aclimatarse y permitir que el cuerpo se adapte a las bajas temperaturas. Adem\u00e1s, en el interior hay un completo men\u00fa gracias al cual podr\u00e1s degustar alguno de los platos que se sirven en el restaurante del complejo como sopas, s\u00e1ndwiches, chocolate caliente, caf\u00e9 o t\u00e9 que, adem\u00e1s de estar sabrosos, te har\u00e1n entrar en calor.<\/p>\n

The magic of ice is one of the great appeals of our planet. Impossible shapes created by nature have mesmerised us and have made us travel to other spots in the globe to enjoy the views. However, humans have also been able to play with ice and have shaped it to their liking<\/strong>, to the point of creating really appealing hotels, bars and sculptures.<\/p>\n

Our ice destination<\/strong> of today is in line with these proposals. It is the Chillout Lounge, located in the warm Dubai City<\/strong>. Only for the contrast between the heat of the desert and the cold of the bar it is worth the visit.\u00a0It is located in the so-called ‘Times Square Center’ of the Arab Emirates capital city, and it is the first ice bar in the Middle East, according to its website.<\/p>\n

The place was opened in 2007<\/strong>, and everything in it, walls, tables, dishes or cups, is made of ice. In the chillout area you can have a soft drink at\u00a0-6\u00baC although the bar has solutions to tackle the cold environment<\/strong>, like thermal clothes, coats or woollen gloves for visitors.<\/p>\n

As a curiosity,<\/strong> the place has an acclimatisation area<\/strong>, at 5 degrees, to allow the body to adapt to low temperatures. Besides, they offer a menu<\/strong> where you can have soups, sandwiches, hot chocolate, coffee or tea that, apart from being really tasty, will help you warm up.<\/p>\n\n\n
